The PPAD which stand for (Power put at Disposal) is part of the first component of the Grid access tariff.
With this tariff, grid users contribute, in proportion to the apparent power that is made available to them (in other words, what is ‘reserved’ for them) to the general grid infrastructure operation and development services.
It relates to a right of the grid user to make offtake of apparent power from the grid upstream. Therefore, the tariff applies only to offtake apparent power. There is no tariff for PPAD for injection.
The following table shows the tariffs for power put at disposal for offtake for grid users connected directly to the Elia grid.
