First, we want to help you better visualise how your PPAD is sized in comparison to your access point's apparent power.
Therefore, we grant you access to your annual view in which you can see for each month your contractual PPAD as well as the 11th consumption peak in kVA. This info helps you determine whether your peak power consumption is close to your PPAD or not.
In addition, we also grant you access to a monthly view per quarter of an hour of your apparent power compared to your PPAD in order to visualise the precise moments during which there has been an exceedance. In case the PPAD is exceeded over a quarter of an hour for the current month, the tool will display a warning (see below). It will also show you a warning when a penalty is applied by Elia.
Moreover, the tool offers you a view on the effective cost of your PPAD. This effective cost consists on the one hand of the tariff related to your PADD and on the other hand of the penalties due in the event of an exceedance of your PADD in the previous 12 months. For more information, you can check the following question: What happens if the PPAD is exceeded on an access point?
Finally, you have the possibility to simulate what your costs would have been with a different PPAD over the selected period and what would have been the delta with your effective costs. To do this, you just need to change the amount of the PPAD in the interface and it will calculate the effective cost according to the PPAD entered, taking into account the penalties and the tariffs.
