The remaining available hosting capacity is computed to in order to respect the loading capabilities of the grid infrastructure in situation without outage of a grid element (e.g. line, cable, transformer, …) as well as with outage of one grid element at the time (N-1) in line with the “methodology for coordinating operational security analysis in accordance with EU 2017/1485 (SOGL)”. For each considered time horizon, 100 representing situations of wind, solar irradiance, temperature and associated consumption, generation, import or export are analyzed. The effect of the local hosting capacity is analyzed using mathematical linearization techniques (i.e. PTDF approach) with respect to the reference situations.
Additionally, a maximum capacity per voltage level is considered to represent the process of ensuring a harmonious development of the transmission system.
