Since march 2026, you can submit your capacity requests in batch via EPIC, by filling out an XLS template and uploading it to EPIC.
The template cannot be modified, as it contains predefined rules. If you require any changes to the template, please share your request with your KAM or send it by email.
First, Log in on EPIC with your epic account. Depending on the permission given to you by your admin, you should see a new tab on the left of your screen called “Capacity Request”.
📌If you are missing the permission, please contact your KAM. We will make sure to provide it as soon as posisble.
This page provides an overview of the capacity requests submitted to Elia via EPIC.
📍 Please note that in this first release, capacity requests submitted by mail before February 2026 (such as backlog v1, etc.) are not displayed here.
For each request, you can find a brief summary of the key information:
- Study ID :
- Client Name
- Substation
- Requested Power (MVA)
- Connection Type
- Client Request: Date filled as ‘Request Date’ when submitting the request
- Submitted to Elia: Date of submission via EPIC
- Status : Submitted or Deleted
💡You can use the search bar above the table to find specific capacity requests based on the ID, substation, client name, etc.
To add your capacity requests, click the orange button at the top right of your screen called “+Create a new request.”
A small window will open, giving you the opportunity to download the template that you need to fill out.
Please always use the latest version of the template—we will update this template based on your feedback.
Fill out the template with one or multiple capacity requests in Excel on your desktop.
📍 Only requests with a non-null Study ID will be saved.
