The "Interconnexion point management" section in EPIC provides DSO with a centralized view of their Interconnection Points (IPs) and allows authorized users to manage their PPAD Offtake.
The page is split in 2:
- Overview: An aggregated view of all Interconnection Points belonging to the DSO network
- PPAD Management
: An overview of PPAD change requests and their status.
This page is restricted to users with the "Interconnection point " role. To request a PPAD update, you also need the "Annexes validator" role. Don't have this role? Ask your EPIC Admin colleague or your KAM.
To request a PPAD update, first log in to EPIC and Navigate to DSO Service > IP Management. Then, click on “+Update my PPAD”.
There are two methods to update the PPAD:
- Batch update via an Excel import
- Manual update via a form
Pick the one that suits you best.
Batch update via Excel import
If you have selected this option, you will first need to download the template which consists of 2 columns:
- Interconnection point name
- New PPAD in MVA
This template is available via the download button.
Once you have filled out the template, with only the interconnection points where you want to update the PPAD, you can upload the file in the box.
The file will be automatically parsed by EPIC. Once processed, the system will display all detected PPAD update requests, including:
· Interconnection Point Name and EAN
· Current PPAD (MVA)
· Requested PPAD (MVA)
· Delta between the current and requested PPAD
· Effective Date
· A validation flag highlighting any detected errors or inconsistencies
Requests containing errors will be highlighted in red and must be corrected before submission.
You can either correct your file and resubmit it or you can delete requests with errors via the button “Clear Flagged items”.
Please note that you cannot submit your requests if there are still any errors detected.
Once cleared out, you can submit your requests by clicking on the “Submit” button. The submission goes directly to our master system. Please note that this action is final.
Manual update via the form
For a limited number of PPAD updates, you can use the manual form. Select the IP you want to update from the list and enter the new requested PPAD in MVA.
Please note the following:
- The effective date is the first day of the next month and cannot be changed.
- The current PPAD is displayed for information only.
- The Border Point Snom is shown as the maximum value allowed for the new PPAD.
Once you have selected the IP and entered the new PPAD, you can either add another PPAD update for a different IP or submit your changes.
After submission, you will be redirected to the PPAD Management tab, where you can view all your requests and track their status.
There are 3 statuses:
- Submitted: We have received your requests and we are making sure that they match our internal rules
- Accepted: Your request has been accepted, your new PPAD have been approved and will be effective as of the first day of the next month.
- Rejected: Your request has not been accepted, please contact your KAM for more information.
