How can I access my metering data via API?

As Grid User or Access Contract Holder you can access your metering data via the Metering API service in Traxes.

TraXes is a developer portal enabling seamless integrations with different API services of Elia. The API Metering Service is available for

  • Grid Users who have a signed Connection Contract. This allows you to request the metering data of your own Access Points and underlying Metering Points or for
  • Access Contract Holders who have a signed Access Contract can request metering data for these Access Points.
 
You will need to do the following to be able to integrate with this API service:
  1. Ask your company admin to grant you access to the TraXes API manager service via EPIC. The accounts for TraXes and Epic are the same.

     

Steps taken by the company admin

Navigate to Accounts section in Epic and click on 'Account details' of the user you want to grant access. 1_Account_overview_2 1.png

Add a user if it doesn't exist in the list.

 

Scroll to the bottom of the accounts detail page to the 'Access and permission' section. And toggle on the TraXes API Manager.

As soon as you have access to the API management service you are authorized to manage your applications and service subscriptions in TraXes

  1. Login on TraXes portal 
  2. Create your applications and manage your service subscriptions as explained on Get Access
  3. Navigate to the Metering Data service for more information
  4. Use the Client ID and Client Secret of your application to authorize your API calls

Note: Resetting credentials and removing applications are not yet supported.
